Nicole Richie's new baby's photos are unveiled in People magazine

Nicole Richie has unveiled the first photos of daughter Harlow Winter in People magazine, which is said to have paid $1 million for the pictures.

The star of The Simple Life poses with her month-old baby on the cover of this week's issue, and says becoming a mother has given her life a "whole new meaning".

A few excerpts from her interview:

On her pregnancy: "I didn't have morning sickness, and I was waiting for it. I was tired a lot but that was really the only thing."

On eating and breastfeeding: "There's just so much I can't eat because Harlow is so sensitive. I eat really bland food like chicken noodle soup, vegetables, fish. I have had to cut out milk, tomatoes and lettuce. You think you have to cut everything out when you're pregnant, but you really have to cut everything out when you're breastfeeding!"

On having bigger boobs: "It doesn't really fit with my wardrobe; it's not who I am. I never had to think about wearing a bra, so it's a whole new world."
