My name is Jamie, and I volunteered to pose for an anti-fur photo shoot. There are many celebrities that have done similar photo shoots to help in the fight against wearing fur, and I wanted to join the campaign. I worked with a wonderful photographer, Greg McGonagill, to get just the right look. The shoot took place in a wooded area, which gave a nice free feeling. Greg really caught the natural look I was going for and helped me to show emotion in the pictures. The natural setting made me feel comfortable and like I was a part of nature. I truly enjoyed just how free-spirited I felt, and I loved how the pictures turned out!
This shoot meant the world to me as I am an animal lover. I previously owned a horse and now have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 large fish tanks full of beautiful fish. I don't believe in cruelty to animals, animal testing, or killing an animal for some part of its body. I think the world should be a peaceful place not only from person to person but also from person to animal. Therefore, I do not support fur coats or hats or anything else of the sort. I support the living creatures that have been here on this earth as long as man. And when I spend time with my pets I will know that I have also in some way helped another animal in the world due to this photo shoot.
So enjoy my pictures... because they are more than just beautiful photographs... they are a work of art created to help the animals that we share this world with.
